This print measures 50×70cm and is signed and numbered by the artist in an edition of 100.
Sanna: ‘I have been depicting birds for almost twenty years, it is a subject I find endlessly engaging. The hugely varied shapes and colourings of birds lend themselves so well to abstract interpretation through pattern. I will probably never run out of different ways to depict them! Sun Bird is a playful composition using all kinds of monoprinted textures cut up and rearranged to create the final design.’
