Studio Workshops
Come and learn to screen print at our studio in Brighton. We offer 2 types of workshops as follows:
Beginner Workshops
If you’re a complete beginner and are looking to learn the basics then this is the course for you. Sessions are over 2 or 3 weeks on Thursday or Friday mornings:
Week 1: introducing screen printing by working with hand-cut paper stencils, mixing and layering colours
Week 2: coating and exposing a screen, printing your own digital image (perhaps a photograph or something typographic) in one or two colours
Week 3 (optional): experimenting using the techniques learnt in previous workshops - tailored to your requirements. You might want to try printing and registering multiple colours, work with halftone images or play with some specialist inks such as metallic and fluorescents.
We have no more than 3 people in a class to make sure you have plenty of support and guidance. All materials are included. These workshops are £65 per 2 hour session.

One-to-one Artist Workshops
Perhaps you’re an artist who has experience with screen printing but is looking to create an edition. At these one-to-one sessions you will be guided through the print process, drawing on our expertise from 20 years of screen printing.
Maybe you have an artwork you are looking to produce - we can help to turn your idea into a small edition. We begin with a pre-production meeting to discuss what you are looking to do and then work out the number of sessions we need to achieve your print. These workshops are £85 per 2.5 hour session.
To make a booking or for more information please email us.
You can expect friendly and informal help and support, with guidance not only on the screen printing process but also creating artwork, mixing colours with a huge range of papers and specialist inks for you to experiment with.
You’ll be printing in a professional print studio, and you’ll be welcome to explore our archive and find out more about the work we do.
