Since 2024 I have been working with universities to deliver hands-on screen printing workshops that give students the chance to learn through making.
Whether supporting Fine Art, Illustration, Graphic Design or other creative courses, workshops can be tailored to complement existing modules, introduce new technical skills, or encourage creative experimentation. Sessions are informal, practical and accessible, and create a collaborative environment and a space to explore creative ideas.
All materials are provided, and screens come pre-exposed ready to print with - we can work with graphics designed by students.
We have previously run sessions at Falmouth University, Chelsea College of Art and the University of Brighton.
Alongside practical workshops, I can also deliver an informal talk about The Private Press and the day-to-day running of my studio. Drawing on my experience as a practising printmaker, I share insights into my creative process, how I work with artists, and the realities of building and sustaining an independent creative business. It's also an opportunity for students to ask questions and see how traditional printmaking techniques continue to have a place in contemporary creative practice.
